June to March is the best time to visit Ajanta Ellora Caves due to pleasant weather. From June to September is the monsoon season in India and the region receives average to plenty of rain showers, which fills the landscape with lush green trees making it a beautiful site to witness.

Ajanta Caves will remain closed on Mondays, while the Ellora Caves will remain closed on Tuesdays.
