The Kenya union of post primary Education Teachers is threatening to call for teachers strike if treasury fails to release union deductions. Kuppet secretary general Akello Misori claim treasury through the teachers’ service commission is withholding the deductions to try and starve unions of their dues so that it can manipulate them to sing its tune. Misori says failure to remit the deductions to the unions had paralyzed operation of such unions.
