Dr. Jackie Stevens of the LSU Department of Biological Sciences and Pennington Biomedical Research Center kicked off the LBRN summer research program seminar series 2012 as the first speaker. She shared her studies with undergraduate researchers, which involves adipocytes and the correlation between obesity and diabetes.
