Since I'm a beginner spinner and don't really have time to do a lot of this wonderful activity, I cannot afford to buy a lot of tools that would help me with it. I have no blending tools for my roving, yet really wanted to mix some colors from time to time... so I learned to do it using only my hands! The more times you repeat the process, the better the fibers will blend. Also, make sure to tug at the very ends of the fibers to get better results! I hope ot helps :)
