European Council President Charles Michel visited Ukraine and called for full support for Ukraine.
Michel traveled to Ukraine ahead of a meeting on Friday at the US military base Ramstein in Germany to discuss aid to Ukraine against Russia.
Michel, "I absolutely believe that the tanks should be handed over."
"We want to support you because we realize that the next few weeks could be decisive for what happens next."
"We hear your message. You need more air defense and artillery systems, more ammunition."
Zelenskyy has called for more modern heavy tanks in the war with Russia, while many of Ukraine's allies announced plans this month to increase military support for Kiev.
