The ultimate toy for your young pilot. The P-51 MUSTANG features
a four blade prop driven by the variable height pedal crank, aft
radiator door, gear doors, exhaust stacks, flexible windshield and
the distinctive Mustang tail. The fuselage and wings are built from
3/8” plywood. Steering is done from a joystick that is linked to a tail
wheel assembly.
You have your choice of decal kits: Paul Poberenzy ‘Paul I’ ,
Chuck Yeager ‘Glamorous Glen III’, and the Bud Anderson ‘Old
Crow’.
This project gives your 3 to 7 year old child a great fun patrolling
the neighborhood.
A Plans set with step by step instructions is available. They include full size patterns for all wood, sheetmetal parts, and dimension drawings for the steel fabricated parts. A parts list is also included. Kit order forms are also included for those who would like
to have parts prebuilt and ready for assembly. A hardware and
wheels kit is also available to help the builder, all the hardware
items required to build one Mustang Pedal plane are included.
