Distance between Noida and Faridabad
The Faridabad–Noida–Ghaziabad Expressway or FNG Expressway is an under-construction 56 km long, 6-lane wide (expandable to 8) expressway in Delhi NCR region of India. It will connect Faridabad in Haryana with Noida and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

History
· Project was first proposed in 2001 by then Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Rajnath Singh
as a greenfield Taj International Aviation Hub at Jewar near Greater Noida,
adjacent to the Yamuna Expressway.
· The project was put on hold during the UPA because the project site was within 150 km of an existing greenfield airport in Delhi.
· When the Akhilesh Yadav-led government was formed in Uttar Pradesh in 2012, it shelving the project while proposing a new international airport in Agra.
· Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone on 25 November 2021
Update
· The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is also constructing a 31-kilometre long greenfield highway
from airport to Sector-65, Faridabad on Delhi–Mumbai Expressway.
NHAI started working on the project last June 2023.
· Timeline aligns with the opening of the Jewar Airport this April 2025.
Benefits & Connectivity
· Expressway is expected to enhance transportation networks between the two states Will likely be a key contributor to the economic growth of the entire Faridabad-Jewar corridor.
· The expressway will reduce the 90-kilometre distance between Faridabad and Jewar to just 31 Kilometres.
· Six-lane expressway will connect the Noida International Airport in Jewar with Sector 65 in Faridabad.
· The greenfield alignment is as follows (east to west):
Yamuna Expressway at Dayanat Pur village, Jewar
KGP Expressway at Mohna village, Ballabhgarh
Delhi–Mumbai Expressway at Sector-65, Faridabad
· Pass through villages such as
Vallabhnagar, Ampur, & Jhuppa in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
In Haryana, will connect villages Bahpur, Kalan, Mohana & Narhawali .
· The project is also predicted to fuel an increase in demand for real estate in the nearby municipalities.
· Apart from that, it may also result in an increase in property values and economic activities upon its completion.
· Expressway linking airport to Yamuna Expressway will open by December 2024 ,
while the rest will be coming June 2025.
