This video addresses some common questions and myths about FT8 (and various digital modes) and talks about some basic operating practices. There is far more that can be covered in just one video and depending on feedback about this video, I may do additional videos on some other frequently asked questions or operating tips. Note that the video refers to 1.8 as that was current as of the time of the presentation but the current version, WSJT-X 2.0 has since been released and is NOT backwards compatible. Please be sure to use the latest software version at all times. Otherwise, the generalconcepts are the same.
