This video presents a future scenario created by Dr. Jessica Blythe and colleagues, in partnership with XpertVR, that illustrates a plausible future for the high seas in the year 2050. The scenario is based on the shared socioeconomic pathways.
Dr. Jessica Blythe is an Assistant Professor at the Environmental Sustainability Research Centre (ESRC) at Brock University. Her research explores transformations to sustainability, equitable ocean governance, and climate change adaptation.
