I spent 5 days traversing the Debsconeag Lakes Wilderness Area in the North Maine Woods as part of my latest camping adventure. This journey was my most challenging yet. It includes several miles of paddling, long portages, rough seas, and even a short battle with hypothermia after an accident in the West Branch of the mighty Pebobscot River. All things considered it was a lot of fun and a trying but rewarding trip.
Adventure is a dish best enjoyed with friends. This trip was no different. In fact, it could have gone a lot worse if it was a solo mission. Thanks to Justin @ItsGoodintheWoods for the assist!
