Telling the story of the legendary Joshua Light Show, through the wonderful photographs of Amalie R. Rothschild. Amalie was the house photographer at the Fillmore East, and worked closely with both the Joshua Light Show and Joe's Lights. I use her book "Live at the Fillmore East: A Photographic Memoir" as a vehicle for explaining how psychedelic analog light shows of the 1960s worked, and why JLS was the best in the business.
