We placed a zirconia metal-free implant on this healthy 83-year old man, used PRP from his own blood, and a few weeks later restored his loose crown over a 30-year old titanium implant in the same area with a CEREC digital same-day crown. We had ordered a new abutment and fixed it, used a laser to expose the margins, and scanned it to make a long-term temporary crown. In 4 months, as we restore the zirconia implant, we will remove the crown over the titanium implant, and we will make two crowns over both implants, probably splinted together, due to their distance from each other.
