Kayabuki no Sato is a beautiful little village in Kyoto Prefecture known for its traditional thatched roof houses and idyllic rural setting. It can be crowded with tourists during the day, but in the evening it is a bit more quiet. On this evening there was a full moon rising just after sunset and I thought it would be a good chance to walk the village at night with the glow of the house lights mixing with light from the moon. Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy so there wasn't much moon to be seen, but the village at night was peaceful and the insects were out.
I also walked through this village at dawn in early summer: [ Ссылка ]
