In 2007, Lane Cove Council identified the site at 266 Longueville Road, Lane Cove as a potential development site in Council's Major Projects Plan. Seniors Living housing was recommended as a suitable use for this site. However, prior to putting forward any firm building plans, Council is preparing a Planning Proposal that examines the rezoning and reclassification of the site. This Proposal, if approved, will enable this kind of potential development to occur on this site.
