Veterinary Pharmacology: Fenbendazole For Dogs
Fenbendazole is a dewormer used to treat a range of parasites in dogs. Your dog must receive all of the doses advised by your veterinarian. Retreatment may be necessary if doses are missed or the drug is stopped prematurely. In dogs getting this drug, salivation, vomiting, and diarrhea are possible side effects.
Contact your dog's veterinarian immediately if you suspect an overdose or an adverse response to the drug. If your veterinarian is not available, they will direct you to an emergency facility. Fenbendazole is generally considered to be safe for use in dogs.
