I recently had a 10% discount and free shipping from Woodcraft so I pulled the trigger on a WoodRiver - Adjustable Spokeshave.
The only beef I have is with Woodcraft. They provide nothing as to how to adjust this spokeshave. No PDF on their website. They have a link to a Rob Cosman video. A great video but it’s for bench planes nothing about spokeshaves.
Anyway, I’ve figured it out. I have a hard time keeping the brass knobs tight.
It was surpassingly sharp out of the box. It is heavy but I like it that way.
