Hull Refugee Week 2009 Video Project
Part 1 -- Introduction
During the 2009 Refugee Week event in Hull, Glynis Nelson, Hasanain Ali, Majida Chrit, Nabaz Ibrahim and Gloria Ho set out to make a short film detailing the daily life of refugees who have moved to Hull.
The film contains interviews with Hasanain and Nabaz, as two refugees, discussing their thoughts on: job security, relationships, the future, life in the UK, and religion.
The second half of the film contains an introduction to, and performance by Borah Shabaa. They are a band of refugee musicians from The Democratic Republic of Congo.
