In this episode I continue the development of a melodic/chromatic synthdrum kit to use in a latter production. This time I'm pursuing some Hi-Hat sounds. I was inspired by the Hat's on the Volca Beats, which are the result of a RingMod operation between several square waves. Now, this is also possible using the Volca Keys, with the added bonus of being able to use samples which are in tune with the other parts in the music. Two different versions were played here: one with a longer decay for the open hats and another with a short decay for the closed ones. The patch is given at the end of the video, but feel free to make variations to suit your personal taste. I hope you enjoy them.
