In 1948 Sir Ludwig Guttmann organised the first competition for paralysed ex-servicemen. Just over 70 years later and this movement has developed to see thousands of elite athletes with disabilities competing in the Paralympic Games and now, we're only one year out from the Tokyo (Japan) 2020 Paralympics.
