This is the last part of the series "Drive on the Italian Riviera". The route leads from Savona to the outskirts of Genova through beautiful riviera towns and shows the whole route uncut.
You can see typical old italian towns with palazzos and lot of palm trees of different arts.
The scooters are there again on the roads, and doing brave maneuvers between the cars. The small scooters and italian cars, Piaggos are practical on the narrow roads of the riviera towns.
Basically the whole riviera is built-in with holiday towns and bigger ones with ports like Savona and Genova, there is almost no wild or agricultural space between the towns, except some rocky parts. North of the Riviera two mountain chains meet: the Southern Italian Alps and the Apennines. There are more wild, inhabited land.
Near Genova we took the highway to Milano and Switzerland, and had to cross these mountain chains meeting point before we reached the Po river plains.
