Tempi valley is a narrow pass between Mt. Olympus and Mt. Ossa at Northern Thessaly. The old saction of the main line that used to cross all the valley following the river has now been replaced by a new double electrified high speed line (2003)...most of the old magic is now lost but the landscape remains beautiful and makes the new line look better. However, it is a petty that we didn't and won't have the chance to catch any trains at the old scenic line.
