Welcome back to my sabbatical diaries in Italy! This time, we're in Northern Italy -- the Dolomites! This is my first time here and we did a few easy and beginner hikes in the Dolomites. I'm by no means an expert in hiking, so we went to explore the Dolomites' best views with the least strenuous activity.

We stayed in Cortina D'Ampezzo for a few days and made a day trip to Tre Cime di Lavaredo to do their easiest hiking loop. It took about 4-5 hrs, including breaks, but it was well worth it for the views!
The next day, we made a short trip to Lake Ghedina. We took a gondola up the mountain and hiked down midway to Lago di Ghedina to view its heart shape. It was a semi-steep but doable hike. I would highly recommend bringing poles to all these hikes. We just were on the road and didn't think to bring poles with us.
On our way to Ortisei, we stopped by one of the most beautiful lakes in the Dolomites called Lago di Braies! It was absolutely one of my favorite spots in the Dolomites and I'd highly recommend coming here for a paved and easy hike around the lake.
On our last day in the Dolomites, we headed over for a much-needed spa day over at QC Terme Dolomiti. Although I didn't film much in the spa, it was my most unique spa experience as they had several different spa rooms, thermal centers, and quiet rooms to relax in. Not to mention, the buffet was incredible and had wine plus beer on tap.
Hope you enjoy! If you did, subscribe for more of my adventures :)
