'INSIDE THE METAVERSE ' is a creative documentary exploring the recent developments of the Internet and more specifically of online virtual worlds.
Reality, as we know it, is not the same anymore but has split in two: a factual, physical reality and synthetic, virtual reality. We call this (on-line) universe the Metaverse.
We explore the different aspects of this phenomenon, on a social, economic and philosophical level.
Who are the inhabitants of these virtual worlds? What are the economic consequences of a world with an unlimited growth potential? What effect does a double reality have on the human psyche? And what are its possible visions of the future?
