Here is a step-by-step process on how to do this:
On the Remote
• Find and press the A button. (Press A Button)
• The Home screen will appear. Select Settings from the options displayed. Home Screen - Setting
• Check the bottom screen to spot the remote icon. Upon spotting it, select it. (spot the remote icon)
• Next, select the Pair Remote to Optimum prompt. Some instructions will appear on the screen. Follow these prompts accordingly. (Pair Remote to Optimum prompt)
• After doing that, a drop-down menu will pop up. From that menu, select the Pair Remote Control option. (Select the Pair Remote Control option)
• You will get a confirmation once the pairing occurs.
Use Auto-Search
For this option, follow these steps:
• Turn on your television.
• Identify the Power and Volume buttons. Then, hold them at the same time. Do this until the LED illuminates.
• Next, press the 1 button, then power down the television.
• Press the Select button. In doing so, you will save the code even when the TV shuts down. Then, the LED light will fade out.
• To conclude, test the remote to determine if it is connected to the television.
