STORYLINE:
The Queen posed for a team photo with England's Rugby World Cup heroes on Monday following their historic victory parade through central London in open top buses.
The sportsmen dwarfed the 5ft 4ins (1.6ms) monarch as they lined up in the Blue Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace.
At 6ft 7ins (2ms), captain Martin Johnson towered above the Queen as he sat to her right with the Webb Ellis Trophy on his knee.
Several corgi dogs padded around in front of the players' feet as the photos were taken.
Prince William took time out from his university studies to attend the reception for the England team.
Princess Anne and other members of the Royal Family also met the players.
