From the police files! (aka simply The Naked Gun) is his 1988 American crime comedy film directed by David Zucker and published by Paramount Pictures. The film stars Leslie Nielsen as disgruntled police lieutenant Frank Drebin. Also starring Priscilla Presley, Ricardo Montalban, George Kennedy and O.J. Simpson.

Actually, Lieutenant Frank Drebin had retired from the Special Forces and retired and promised his sweetheart Jane a little Frank. But then he is persuaded to take on an undercover assignment at the state prison. There he finds out that a bombing is to be carried out at the Oscars. So he infiltrates the prison without further ado in order to gain the gangster's trust.
