A short explanation of why I returned my Sony XAV-AX100. The Sony XAV-AX100 was purchased from Amazon.com to replace a Joying that died. This was installed in a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Freedom Edition.

I spliced the Sony Wiring harness into the PAC RP4-CH11:

Retained the console USB with the Metra USB adapter:
