Technische Hoogeschool Bandung, established since 1920, known as "Institut Teknologi Bandung" (ITB) is one of the renowned higher education institutions that continuously developing in improving knowledge, technology and art in educating the nation. 

ITB campuses have been going through numerous expansion and facilities increases. However, the uniqueness of the old architecture of ITB can still be enjoyed until today despite of the numerous up-to-date renovations and new additional buildings as part of accommodating the needs of teaching and learning process. In response to future expansion, knowledge development and the increase of the number of students, infrastructure and facilities development is indeed required.

Within 2010 to 2014, there have been many developments shown visually via ITB Ganesha development videos. In physical environmental development planning of ITB, it is vital to lead the development as a "green campus" which provides a conducive environment to support learning process, clean, comfortable and healthy campus environment.
