In this video I’m looking at 30 bands who have had a consistent line-up that lasted (or is still going) for at least 26 years. When I say “line-up” I’m talking vocals, bass, drums, guitar (or guitars plural, if two guitars are crucial to the group’s sound) and maybe keyboards as well. The length of a line-up’s longevity depends on how long the newest member has been in the group. It’s as simple as that.
Please let me know of other bands I've missed out on. I'll be doing a follow-up video to this because there will be plenty that I have overlooked.
Also, forgive me for my bad pronunciation on several names.
At one point in the video, I provide a list of bands that are not eligible, but I know that it won’t stop people from asking me why they’re not included in the main list. Believe me, I did extensive research. It’s highly possible that I made some mistakes somewhere along the way, but I’m fairly confident that it’s pretty sound.
Backing music is provided by The Bone Folders.
All compositions are by Ian D. Marks.
Personnel: Ian D. Marks – guitars, keyboards, percussion. Scott Boydle: drums, percussion. Stephen Tighe: bass. Andrew Bonnici: lap steel slide guitar. Elizabeth Taylor: violin, piano.
