Mauro Iannicelli explains the Catholic Voices methodology to share the Catholic faith.
At the heart of the CV vision there is a simple idea: that to communicate the Church’s message in contemporary Western culture one can’t just speak and expect to be understood because there are too many ‘filters’ that prevent it. These are a series of preconceptions or prejudices about the Church which are present in our culture. These filters in communications jargon are called ‘frames’. In order to be heard one must be able to steer the conversation outside of the frames of our culture. That is called ‘reframing’ and CV teaches a methodology to do so.
