The startup screen and jingle for the Super Game Boy, which despite it's name, is actually an accessory for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Hence the name. Released in 1994, the Super Game Boy was essentially a built-in Game Boy adapter, which allowed the user to play their standard Nintendo Game Boy and Game Boy Color games (minus GBC exclusive games) on their Super Nintendo. Not only does it allow colour, the player can choose from a selection that is customized for your preference. You can even select what borders to have around the screen, or simply create your very own; Mario Paint style! Not only can it enhance the playing experience for a certain number of games, it can also allow you to use animations around the border . It also could be used in conjunction with other Nintendo accessories, such as the Super Multi-Tap, the Super Nintendo Mouse, and even the Game Boy Camera!
