Promotional umbrellas come in many sizes and shapes but they all feature a common element: the canopy. Each canopy is made up of panels: most commonly eight or six but some can even have just one!

Printing on umbrellas is done on these panels. For example, on an eight panel umbrella your artwork can be printed on one panel, two panels, four panels or all eight panels.

Printing price is calculated based on how many panels are printed.
Stock umbrellas have limited print area because you have to fit the whole umbrella into the printing machine so you can’t get all the way to the edges.

Umbrellas that are made to order from scratch have panels printed first and only then are they sewn into the umbrella.

Panels can be screen printed if your logo uses a few block colours. Or they can be printed using a dye sublimation machine to print full colour or all over the panel all the way to the edges.
