Freeride Competitions are compelling viewing because they harness energy, spontaneity, creativity and courage. But the biggest challenge facing these contests was building a format that could decide a winner without crushing those core attributes
Over the last quarter of a century competitive freeriding has developed so that it allows athletes to showcase not only their style and technical skill, but also their personalities, be that aggression… grace… or even humour.
