In the 3rd ODI, Pakistan posted 308/9 in 47 overs, thanks to Saim Ayub's second century (101) of the series. Ayub's ton, along with crucial contributions from Babar Azam (52) and Mohammad Rizwan (53), helped Pakistan set a competitive target.
In response, South Africa got off to a poor start, losing both openers inside the first seven overs. Heinrich Klaasen's 43-ball 81 kept South Africa's hopes alive, but debutant Sufiyan Muqeem's 4/52 and some tight bowling from Pakistan's attack ensured a 37-run win (DLS) for the visitors.
