However, they are given a discount of $5 back. They realize that $5 does not divide into three people nicely so they give $2 as a tip and keep a $1 each. Therefore, they have now only paid $9 each instead of $10 each. 3x $9 is $27, plus the $2 left as a tip is $29. Where's the missing dollar?! Can you or friends figure it out?
