As I leave the Trent and Mersey Canal I travel onto the shortest canal in the UK, the Wadle Canal. This is followed immediately by the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union. I transverse the whole length of the Middlewich to the Shropshire Union, where I Take a left and head to the Llangollen Canal, which is also a branch of the Shropshire Union Canal.
