Roger spotted an amazing new flower spike 'exploding' out of the top of his friends Cordyline Palm tree - in spring in Wales (UK)
These flower spikes grow very quickly and can dominate the look of the Palm (although it is not officially a Palm tree - most folks in the UK call it a palm tree) by early early summer with a huge cloud of creamy white highly perfumed flowers.
