Kawasaki W 175 Cafe Racer step-by-step build, from the original base Kawasaki W 175, which sells new for under $ 2,000, to the modified version.
Design ideas and animation concept by MPC Custom Motorcycle Designs.
All parts used for the modifications are modified original parts of the base bike or available via aftermarket third party vendors.
The concept design build video of the Kawasaki W 175, shows the step by step the modifications starting with the base bike to the modified version to showcase how the look of the bikes change in the process.
This also should help with estimating costs for a specific build and some alternative options.
The Kawasaki W175 is a 177-cc air-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder motorcycle made by Kawasaki, since 2017. The retro styled bike, is part of the Kawasaki W series, and is currently produced by PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia.
Kawasaki held the world premiere launch for this bike at Jakarta in November 2017, and began selling the bike mainly for the Indonesian domestic market.
For now, the bike has been exported to Thailand, India, the Philippines, and some American markets such as Uruguay, Mexico and Bolivia.
The bike gained some popularity among bike modification enthusiasts as a great base bike for custom modifications.
The base W175 has a top speed of 110.1 km/h or 68 mph
Unfortunately, there’s no indication that Kawasaki will bring the W175 to the North American market.
The bike currently retails, depending on the market, between US$ 1,775 - US$ 2,320, pretty much making the Kawasaki W175 one of the most affordable entry level, retro style bikes and a perfect base bike for customization and modifications.
The video will show some simple modifications and ideas on how to convert a base W175 into a cafe racer style bike.
