Ingredients List:
• 1 lb ground chicken or crumbled tofu
• 1 onion, small dice
• 1 Tb sesame oil
• 1 Tb rice vinegar
• 2 tsp garlic, minced
• 1 tsp ground ginger
• 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
• 1 head napa, savoy, or green cabbage, shredded
• 1/2 cup grated carrot
• 2 scallions, sliced thin
• Salt and pepper
• 1 Tb hoisin sauce
• Optional garnishes: sesame seeds, crispy
wontons, herbs, etc
Instructions:
• Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground
chicken once warm. Cook, stirring until no longer pink, drain
any drippings/juices
• Add the diced onion, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to the skillet
with the drained chicken. Cook until onion is tender, a few
minutes
• Add the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, cabbage, and
carrots to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until cabbage is
tender
• Remove skillet from heat and scoop mixture into a bowl. Garnish with sliced scallions, sesame seeds, crispy wontons, etc
