Divers continued the search to recover debris after a Boeing 737-500 jet disappeared minutes after taking off from Jakarta, Indonesia's capital, and did a nosedive at high velocity into the Java Sea.
The plane crashed on Saturday and was carrying 62 people but no survivors had been found by Monday.
Parts of the plane could be seen scattered on the sea floor in an underwater video from the Indonesian navy.
