The Italian League "Seria A" is one of the best football leagues in the world which always presents the best talents from various parts of the world. Even in the best era, namely the 1980s to 2000s, players from Italian clubs dominated the competition to win the Ballon d'Or award.
From Paolo Rossi, Michel Platini, Marco van Basten, Ronaldo Nazario to Zinedine Zidane, they got the Ballon d'Or while playing in the Italian League.
In Italy itself there are several awards for selecting the best players. In the previous video, we saw the list of the best players in the Italian league at the Gran Gala del Calcio awards held by the Italian Football Association (AIC).
In this video we will show the Guerin d'Oro award which was founded in 1976.
If the winner awarded the Gran Gala del Calcio is selected by the league's football players, the Guerin d'Or Award is awarded based on the weekly ranking reports of Guerin Sportivo and the three main Italian sports dailies: La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport.
