Goldfish produce alot of waste in aquarium and easily dirt the aquarium
Fish waste cause build ammonia in the aquarium which is highly toxic for the fish, but if the tank cycle the benefical convert this ammonia into nitrite and then nitrates

Nitrates is as toxic fir the fishes as the ammonia, but when the nitrates level is too high, then it's harmful for the fishes
There is two simple way tokepp the nitrates level in goldfish aquarium
First is water change just drain the water and filll some fresh water
and the second natural way to remove nitrates in the aqaurium is to add some live plants in the aquarium,i used lucky bamboo plants

Lucky bamboo is a indoor plant, can grow well in low light condition
These plants absorb the nitrates from the water and use it as food and grow faster then before
