Canta' Maggio, that is "singing may", is an old tradition of some zones of central Italy:
during the night between april 30th and may 1st young people wander the countryside, singing traditional songs cheering the beginning of good season. Often, but not always, farmers open their houses and offer food and (most important) drinks!
