When we travel, we always aim to live like a local. What better way than by shopping for local ingredients, and then learning how to cook a traditional Spanish dish from scratch – Ourselves! We made an alcoholic beverage (Sangria), a main course (Paella) and then of course dessert (Crema catalana!) Eduardo was our chef and his story is beautiful! He was born and raised in Madrid and knows so much history and knowledge about how this city operates. It was his trip to Thailand (he took a cooking class in Chiang Mai) that sparked this idea to create a cooking school, back in his home country of Spain! Shopping for local ingredients and then getting our hands dirty was truly one of our favorite memories here in Spain.
