In the fifth of a series of video interviews related to the United Nations climate summit in Paris in December, Saleemul Huq explains why Least Developed Countries are seeking a temperature target of 1.5 degrees.
The UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties meeting (COP21) takes place in Paris from 30 November to 11 December.
"This series of video blogs will highlight different aspects of the Paris agreement," said Saleemul Huq, who also features in the video interview series. "But the unique feature will not just be explaining what is going to happen in Paris, but explaining it from the perspective of the most vulnerable countries."
