Thailand security forces have killed a soldier who shot dead 26 people and injured at least 50 others.
The soldier first attacked and killed his commanding officer at his barracks then proceeded to steal a gun and ammunition from a military camp and continued the shooting rampage at a shopping centre while posting updates on social media .
Two officers were confirmed dead after authorities stormed the centre where they shot and killed the gunman.
