In this Video, Alex shows you the differences between the popular Shure SM7b and the Rode NT1-A Microphones.
You´ll hear a Voiceover section, a sibilance test aswell as a plosive test. To round it all of, he has also prepared three songs from us to show you the differences inside a Mix.
While the price difference is about 224€, both of these Microphones are etablished standards within the music industry and in terms of the SM 7B also in the Realms of Streaming and Podcasting.
There was no processing going on inside the vocal-tracks. Just the Fabfilter L-2 Limiter on the Masterbus of the Video to increase the volume.
