Dimer Paturi | ডিমের পাতুরি | Egg Paturi | Bengali Recipe
(Steamed egg on banana leaf)
Ingredients:
Eggs (Dim)
Kala patta (banana leaf)
Onions 5-6 (chopped)
Potatoes 4-5 (cut into baton shaped)
Brinjal 2-3 (cut in to baton shaped)
Chillies 3-4 (chopped)
Oil - 4tbs for marinating + one cup for cooking.
Salt as req.
Chilli paste - 3tbs
Turmeric powder - 2tbs
Process:
1. Boil the eggs and cut it into half.
2. Cut the vegetables (potato, onions, chillies)
3. Coat the eggs with the garlic chilli paste.
4. Place the coated eggs and the vegetables on the banana leaf.
5. And than steam it on the oven for 30-40 Min.
6. Turn it on the other side and let it cook for another 15 min.
Ready to serve!
