For optimal protection, you should install a support structure on your pontoon before putting on a cover. If you would like a more aerodynamic and tight fit the Pontoon Cover can be heat shrunk with an industrial grade heat tool, once the cover is installed. The cover only needs to be shrunken once -- but you can re-shrink if desired. Heat shrinking provides a more tight fit and allows the cover to shed water and snow better than if it's unshrunk.
