ABOUT MARY RICHARDSON-LOWRY
Mary Richardson-Lowry is a former partner practicing in Commercial Transactions and Government Relations at Mayer Brown, LLP, an international law firm whose home office is in Chicago. During her career, Mary also served in government in various capacities.
Before she embarked on a legal career, in fact before she started high school, Mary began paying close attention to beauty and fragrance. As a 12-year-old she began noticing how products affected her skin as well as how they impacted her being. For her, beauty was within everyone -- a true reflection of self. Having been raised by parents who taught her the importance of self-reliance and proactively solving problems, Mary began blending and adding ingredients to achieve the best results. Even while her legal career advanced friends and colleagues would ask what she was wearing. Her nose was natural, self-taught, and exceptional. Mary’s legal career took various turns but her passion for beauty and fine fragrance never waned, and she continued creating products over the years. Ultimately, Mary chose to pursue her passion with trusted partner and co-founder Brenda McKenzie, and IDENTITY NARRATIVE ® was created.
